Logging on to Domain...?

M

mjhughesmp

When trying to log onto the domain (Win 2k Server) all
our workstations (running Win XP pro) get the following
error message after the user types the password.

Windows cannot connect to the domain, either because the
domain controller is down or otherwise unavailable, or
because your computer account was not found. Please try
again later. If this message continues to appear contact
your system administrator for assisstance.

The user is able to log on after trying four or five
times.

Does anyone know what is causing this message? Any
assisstance will be appreciated.

Thank you.

sounds like DNS issue. check the dns settings and make sure all computers
point to the correct dns.
