Window defender updates

I try and update windows defender and an error message comes up and says
unable to complete update 0x80240022 wrong diskette is in the drive insert %2
into drive and it fails through microsoft updates. Anyone heard of this yet?

I saw this tonight. What worked for me was:

Update reinstall, followed by a visit to Windows Update.

Start, control panel, add or remove programs, Windows Defender, change,
update

I had to once again unistall and reinstall to get the updates, that is twice
in one week. Crazy. Thank you anyways.

I just came across this very same thing myself. The machine still had Beta 1
on it. I updated to beta 2 and all was well. We'll see how it goes when the
next update comes through.
