Win98SE IE 6.0 Script Error

Hello, I cannot download McAfee security applications, McAfee Virus Scan or
McAfee Firewall Plus, which I had previously done at the time of original
purchase. During the download process of either program an "Internet
Explorer Script Error" message appears and will stop the programs from
downloading. For the Firewall Plus application the error reads- Line: 542,
Char: 9, Error: Object Required "objlog", Code: 0 and for the Virus Scan the
errorit reads- Line: 298, Char: 3, Error: Object Required "gobjreg". McAfee
Security Center does not exist and will not install during either of these
downloads, as it should. McAfee has not been able to resolve. Any help would

Hi Rob, were you able to resolve this issue? I have in the past had semilar
problems reinstalling McAfee. Did you totally uninstall all McAfee including
the registry items? This is only one of several things I had to do. I will
have to check my notes to come up with the rest if you need any more help.
