Why does my ISP refuse to upload my modified header page?

I used a FrontPage "header" template to build a Web site. It has worked
perfectly. Recently I added a tab, and tried to upload a modified "banner"
page (that contains the tabs), and Yahoo GeoCities declared it an "invalid
file" and wouldn't upload it.

The file is no different, except for the new tab.

What's the file name and extension? Are you uploading it to a new folder?
What's the exact error message you get?

The file name and extension is PinseekersBanner.htm. It's going into the same folder as the previous version.

The exact error message is "invalid file."

How are you trying to "upload" it? Are you trying to publish the file from
FrontPage using http? Did you contact your web host?

I log onto my account at Yahoo, go to the File Manager, then click the Upload
button, which lets me access my computer and designate which files to upload.
Once they're designated, I click Upload. Normally Yahoo says, "Upload
Successful." But with PinseekersBanner.htm it says, "Invalid File." This
message normally means the file name is illegal, so I tried giving the file
another name--test.htm--but Yahoo still declared the file invalid.
