Why do I get "Found new hardware" message?

I installed my printer about 8 months ago and it has worked perfectly. I
recently got a new motherboard and processor put in. Ever since these were
put in, everytime I turn on my printer it say "Found new Hardware", as if it
is new hardware. I thought I might have to reinstall the printer but it
still is on the computer and works fine. How can I fix the problem of the
computer thinking it is new every single time.
It's kind of annoying also because then it keeps popping up with the windows
installation things. Anyone know how to fix this? Any help is much
appreiciated, thanks.

I take it this is a USB printer? Try disconnecting the printer and all USB
devices, remove printer in control panel>printers & faxes, go into device
manager and uninstall all USB controllers then reboot. Windows will
reinstall the USB controller, plug printer in and see if that takes care of
it.

I received the following from Geoff Birrell who miss-addressed it to me.
Hi, this worked for me; go to Control Panel - System - System properties -
Hardware - Device Manager - go to Other Devices - at the menu at top of
page, turn OFF TI RNDIS. If not the answer, turn it back ON. Nothing lost,
good luck, Geoff.
