new hardware found

hello ,
when i restart my computer i get an
icon which states that new hardware
has been found . it refers to my printer
which is already installed and
working fine . is there a way to correct
this and eliminate this from happening ?

How were the printer drivers installed? From the Windows XP cdrom or
from materials that originally shippped with the printer? If not from
the Windows XP cdrom, then uninstall and re-install with the drivers
form the Windows XP cdrom.
