I have a problem with my Internet Explorer. I am setting
my homepage to the particular HTML file on my desk, every
time I close and open my Internet Explorer, the homepage
gets reset to http://81.211.105.9/index.php?v=3

This is the GOOGLE web site, I searched for 81.211.105.9
in the Registry and find the following entries:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main

SearchPage http://81.211.105.9/index.php?v=3
search bar http://81.211.105.9/search.php?v=3
Start page http://81.211.105.9/index.php?v=3

Is this a virus? Or should I just install Internet
Explorer again? Any help would be appreciated!

This problem just started three days ago but I do not
remember running any executables from the Web. I have
installed Norton AntiVirus now.

Windows 2000, P4 2.4 GHz machine, IE 6.0

Thanks

Run the "Cool Web Shredder"
check for update first.
http://www.merijn.org/files/CWShredder.exe
Close all instances of Internet Explorer and Outlook Express,
click on the executable above and follow the prompts.
