What is error code 0x800cccf0.

I use yahoo as my server. I have outgoing mail in microsoft outlook. Can't
send. Can't send files/pictures either. Get error code 0x800cccf0. My POP3
is yahoo. My SMTP is yahoo. At one time I used hotmail and it was listed as
the http. I removed it. Still can't send mail from outlook mailbox and
folders. What do I do? What is the fix? Thanks

Since you did not post the complete error message that is shown I am going to guess at 2 possible issues

(1) You have your AV set to scan incoming and outgoing emails. Disable the AV integration within Outlook of your Anti Virus

(2) The outgoing Port 25 is not the correct port.

I'm going to try to disable the AV integration as suggested (whatever that
is) in OUTLOOK......thanks. Outgoing port is 25. Incoming (POP3) is 110.
Does it make a difference if I use Yahoo, MSN or Hotmail as my ISP? I
formerly used Comcast. Since I moved and use Yahoo now my outgoing mail in
outlook is "STUCK".....just loops back to the outlook mailbox.

I'll try and reconstruct error message......."Outlook is unable to connect to
your outgoing (SMTP) e-mail server. If you con't to receive this contact
your admin or ISP.......the error has now changed to: 0x80042109......not as
in subject line.
