Outlook 2003 problem getting e-mails: error 0x800CCCF0

I have been using Outlook 2003 with an MSN e-mail account for ~1 year no
probs. I have made no changes but now am having problems getting my e-mails.
The only way I can recover is to shut down Outlook and start again (several
times a day!). The error message is 0x800CCCF0 (something to the effect of
not able to connect with the server).

Are you using the MSN connector or set up via a traditinal http account?

Apologies for the delayed response. I have a traditional http account but I
am a paying MSN account user (always have been). Do I still need the
connector? If so, why did Microsoft not warn me? Best wishes
