i need some help with this...i was on my computer yesterday and it magically
shut down while i was playing a game, so i went to uninstall it and found
that none of my programs can be removed and a progam call WebFldrs XP was in
the add/remove list...that program was never there before and i never
installed it...HOW did it get there? Is there anything i can do to get rid of
it because i really dont know what it is.

theres also 2 other unknown programs that have never been in there before
the names are:

TMASOLDL
TMASOEDL

i would really appreciate some feedback, it boggles my mind to not know how
the programs got there and why i cant uninstall anything that have been on my
computer for more the a month.

System

Windows XP Home SP2
AMD 3000+ 1.81 ghz
1GB Ram

Thanks,

Carol

ok, i did that and those programs seem to be gone now, but the larger issue
at hand is I still cant Add/Remove programs, for instance say i want to
uninstall MSN Messenger when i go to add and remove and click on MSN
Messenger all i see is how often the program is used, i cant uninstall it
because there is no button to do so.

MSN Messenger is removed from the Add/Remove Windows Components button.
If other Change, Remove options are missing, see this:
