Web pages load slow

Recently I did a clean install of XP Home Edition w/SP2, oem version. Since
installation, I have had trouble getting on line and when I do, the pages
load slowly.
I have DSL and route through a D-Link wireless router using a CAT5 cable. I
have 3 other computers that use the same setup and have no problems.
Prior to the clean install, I was running XP Home Edition w/SP1. After I
upgraded to SP2 nothing worked properly and I had to continually authenicate
my copy of XP. After 3 times, I purchased a new copy, installed a new HD and
did the clean install.
I am running an AMD XP2700+ processor, 1GB Kingston Hyper-X memory, 120 GB
Western Digital HD, Nvidia 5700 LE OC graphics card, Creative Audigy Gamer
sound card, Albatron KX600S Pro motherboard.
I use Foxfire, Netscape 7.2, and IE, all with the same result - slow loading
pages.
Any help would be appreciated

Thanks for your reply. Tried both sites with various results at each. My
connection speed, download, varied from 1.8 kb/s to 123.4 kb/s with upload
speeds just as wild. I did 5 tests, 3 at dslreports and 2 at pcpitstop.
PCPitstop stated that I had "IE Cache Overflow" and my receive buffer size
was possibly too small. I followed their directions for correcting both
problems, one at a time. Changing the registry to increase the buffer size
made the problem worse, so I went back to the default settings.
Of the four (4) computers connected to this router, this is the only one
with a problem. I've even changed the plug-ins around and the result is the
same.
Any more possible solutions?
