"View Slide Show" not working

All of a sudden my "view as a slide show" doesn't work. The first photo comes
up but other photos don't sequence. If i highlight a different photo( say the
third photo) the first photo is still the only one to be viewed. Any
ideas??????????

Thanks

Try this, maybe it will restore the option:

go to...Start / Run and type:

"REGSVR32 SHIMGVW.DLL"
(without the quotes)(Yes, there's
a space between 2 and S)

Click...OK.

A dialog box should report the following:

"DllRegisterServer in SHIMGVW.DLL succeeded"

Hi John,

I have the same problem, but when I tried your instruction, I get the
following message: The module "SHIMGVW.DLL" was loaded but the entry-point
DllRegisterServer was not found. Make sure that "SHIMGVW.DLL" is a valid DLL
or OCX file and then try again.

Adding new questions to old threads causes
confusion...I have no idea what you mean when
you say: "I have the same problem".

Please begin a new thread and post details of
the exact issue you are trying to clear up. Also
include which version of Windows you are running.
