Versions of Access

Hi,

I have created a reporting system which allows people to run reports via a
form. On the form are some ActiveX controls, they are Calendar controls. I
created this in access 2000.

I am creating shortcuts on users desktops to allow them to use the reporting
database but some people have access 2000 and some have 2002. On the 2002
version it crashes on the activeX controls as though it can't find them. Is
there anyway round this? It works fine on the Access 200 version.

Rather than worring about which version of an ActiveX control you need to
deal with, why not use an Access form? I use a calendar form which I
developed in the early days of Access 2.0 and which still works because of
it's code simplicity. Here's a copy that works in all versions starting with
Access 2000:
