using word 2001 with mac classic

can anyone help me. i am running mac os 10.2 and when i go to start up word
2001 it goes to the classic side, but when word opend the document i need it
blinks and i have to force quit word. can anyone tell me what i need to do
to be able to run office 2001 with os x?

Although Mac users do call in here, you would be better asking at the mac

You need to repost your question on a Mac-specific newsgroup, for things
involving the program misbehaving rather than just internal manipulation of
Word.

Office 2001 will always and only open in Classic within OS X, but when you
repost the question, try giving more detail about what happens with the doc.
