USB jumpdrive removal reboots my pc

I have a few users where I work that have their computer auto reboot
whenever they remove their USB jumpdrive. It doesn't matter if they
properly stop the device or not, the pc still reboots.

Any help is appreciated.

Just a guess, but is USB set as a boot device in the BIOS?

It was in the list. I removed it and still have the same error. Also
I tested another brand USB drive on the machine and had no problems.

The problem USB drive is a sandisk cruzer mini. Has anyone else had
problems with this model?

usb drive causes reboot

I am having the same problem with a client of mine. She had just upgraded her palm to the new E2. I thought that was the problem so I disabled hibernation on her pc. I can now safely remove the palm piolot without a problem. I still have the same problem when I remove the usb drive. YES IT IS A SCAN DISK DRIVE!!!!!!!! Maybe this is an issue with their drives? If anyone else has feedback let me know. Thanks.
