XP Pro won't recognize JumpDrive 2.0 Pro

Aloha mai!

I have a Lexar JumpDrive 2.0 Pro which mounts like a dream on my Win2K
box at work, but doesn't work on my PC at home running XP Pro. When I
insert the JumpDrive, it recognizes it somewhat (showing "JUMPDRIVE
PRO," then "USB Mass Storage Device" in the taskbar as it installs),
but ultimately reports that there was a problem installing the device,
and it doesn't mount.

Re-running the hardware install wizard and scanning the hard drive for
a better driver nets nothing ("Cannot Continue the Hardware Update
Wizard - The wizard could not find a better match...").

Could my preinstalled XP drivers for USB devices be corrupted? This
PC was originally WinME and was upgraded to XP Pro. If so, where do I
get them to replace them? FWIW, according to the Hardware Profiles
window, the driver that is trying to work with the JumpDrive is
version 5.1.2600.0, released 7/1/2001.

Mahalo!

Just an update, I'm still having problems, despite downloading all the
service packs and recommended updates from Windows Update, and buying
a different powered USB hub. It's the same USB hub I'm using at work
on a Win2k system, and it works with the JumpDrive, so I'm pretty sure
it's the USB hub ("Mass USB Storage Device") driver I have under XP.

Any advice you can offer on how to replace the one that XP always
grabs would be appreciated!
