Can't initialize my cleaned out Jumpdrive

To anyone who can help,

I was using diskpart to manage the partitioning of my hard drive.
I was stupid and accidentally used the "clean" command and cleaned out my
jumpdrive (USB device). When I went in to the disk manager to deal with the
problem, it wouldn't let me initialize the jumpdrive. I tried to check the
error at microsoft, but it couldn't be identified. Any ideas?

By initialize you mean activate the LED on the drive? Or do you merely not
see a drive letter?
