Uninstall,install

Don't know if I am right but it appears to me that before any new problems,
uninstall and then reinstall and see if the problem still exists, At least
you will know it is not a transient. Also if you can create a partition and
indtall MSAS in the new partition. This will stop any MSAS from destroying
aanything in the original partition. When testing beta software it is always
good practice to do so in a seperate partition. Guarantees that nothing of
thr original software is destroyed or changed. I started doing this after
many problems and having to recover.

I`m not sure I agree with this philosophy unless your
partition has an operating system of its own installed on
it and you configure MSAS to scan only that partition.
This would be pointless if your primary partiton contains
all your program files and the medium thru which you gain
access to the internet. If this is the case, and you
would like protection, you would still have to configure
MSAS to scan your primary partition if you are to gain any
benefit from the program.

Stu, Sorry that I didn't mention a OS in the test partition. Some times I
assume that people know what is invilved.
Thanks for mentioning what I left out.
