vista beta uninstallation

Hello I was wondering how I would go about uninstalling vista beta. I have it
on a seperate partition from xp and I am running in dual boot. Last time i
uninstalled the previous beta (by formatting the partition it was on) it
still gave me the option to boot vista, and evenutally I had to reinstall xp
because it was causing problems. Are there any files vista puts on your xp
partition? Or was what happened to me last time some sort of anomaly?

Any help on the best way to go about uninstalling vista would be awesome.

You can reformat that partition and restore the Win XP Boot.

First, you need a boot disk with fdisk.exe on it.

1) Reformat the partition drive.
2) Reboot with the boot disk.
3) At the DOS command type : fdisk/mbr

Note : "MBR" resets and restores the Win XP Boot the way it was before.

I've just done it days ago and it works. My Windows XP is back to normal.

There's a program called "vistabootpro" that will do the trick (google for
ir). I formatted the partition that Vista was on, then ran the vistabootpro
from Win XP and all was fine.

go ahead and format the vista partition.
during the install it fixes the multi-boot so you end up with just the 1 item for vista.
