My MS Office would keep closing down and restarting again - over and over.
So I uninstalled office (I took a backup of the .pst file) and reinstalled it
from scratch. All the other Office applications worked after the
reinstallation, except MS Outlook. When trying to start Outlook it would
simply give an error message "Unable to open default email folders". It
would then ask, "Open default folders instead". If you say Yes to this, then
it effectively just becomes Windows Explorer. The new installation did not
create a .pst file and copying the old one back did not fix the problem. I
have Office 2003 SP1. Any ideas?
