Unable to install Far Cry

While trying to install Far Cry I get this message
"An I/O error occurred while installing a file. This is normally caused by
bad installation media or a corrupt installation file."
Abort-Retry

I've clicked retry and it does the same for me.
BTW I'm using cd images that I was lucky enough to make before my cd broke.
Hope you can help!

Hello Tim,

It sounds like your image is bad, try making another from a friends disk, or
buy another and make the image then return it ;) or call the company see
what they say about broken disks
