Unable to install Client for Microsoft Networks

I have laptop running XP Pro SP2, unit is part of the domain. Someone
uninstalled “client for Microsoft Networks†and now when I try to install it
again I get the error “Could not add the requested component. The error is
Access is deniedâ€, this happens under user’s account and administrator
account. Things that were tried already were system restore, removal off all
network adapters and associated service/protocols but nothing helped, still
the same problem.

Hi

I suspect that the microsft network component which uninstalled might not be uninstalled properly so I can suggest you to try This steps:
1. try some good Registry cleaners
2. try registry fix.
3. then restart computer and try to reinstall the component once again
4. try to uninstall properly the component
5. Reinstall and restart PC and try
I hope this should give you the fix.

Regards,
Chris
