Hi everyone,

I receive this message when trying to add Client for Microsoft Networks.
"Could not add the requested component. The error is: 0x800700C1"
I have File and Printer Sharing, TCP/IP, and QoS installed but I can't
access other computer's resources becuase this component is not installed.

Any ideas?

The problem could be a corrupted network connection. Go to Device
Manager and remove the network adapter for the LAN, which will also
remove the LAN connection. Reboot and let XP install the network
adapter, which will create a new LAN connection.
