Windows Protocols

S

Sam

I just installed Windows XP and noticed these protcols
listed;

Client for Microsoft Networks
File and print sharing for microsoft networks
QoS packet scheduling
Internet Protocol (Tcp/Ip)

Are these the default protocols that get installed? Can I
uninstall the Qos Packet protocol?

I have uninstalled the Qos packet scheduler on several
occasions with no ill effects, and often with a
performance gain.
