unable to install 'client for microsoft networks'

hi,
in the process of intalling a new wirless network adapter
(netgear wg111) i have somehow managed to render myself
unable to install a'client for microst networks'. when i
do try to install it (from the adapter properties
panel>install...>client) the message appers: "windows was
unable to find and drivers for this device. If you have a
disk that contains the updated driver, or wish to search
in another location, click ok." i don't know where to look
if the file is on my computer (a .ini file) or where i can
get the right one from. this only happens with the client
option, as i have configured the right protocols and
adapters.
any help greatly appreciated,
cheers, mike

Something has become corrupted in the network setup. Go to Device
Manager and un-install the wireless network adapter. Then re-install
it, which should straighten everything out.
