What's the fix? Remove KB933928? What kind of trouble do I get into if I
remove that update? MS should issue another update to resolve...its urgent !

Advice please ....TIA

Uninstalling KB933928 is the only known fix at this point.
I haven't seen much of an outcry, so this problem does not appear to be widespread.

Thanks Gary...
I uninstalled KB933928 (and rebooted of course) and it didn't help at
all...same behavior....clicking on the "To:" produces the info dialog box of
"unable to choose recipients"
....any other suggestions out there? TIA

Sorry to hear that uninstalling KB933928 did not fix the problem for you.
I don't have the "unable to choose recipients" problem myself, so
all I can do is pass along what others have reported.
I have no further insight to share.

I'm going to try to remove KB929916 & KB935807, since these two upgrades also
showed up on 7/12/2007 which apparently precipitated this problem....?

I'll let you know....I wonder if the order in which uninstalling upgrades
matter....?

I have Norton 360 as my AV app and Vista Home premium....

Thanks all for your comments and for following this issue...appreciated

No Soap....uninstalling the other upgrades didn't help either..I'm going to
restore my system to 7/7/2007 level.......when it worked....tx

The saga continues....I couldn't restore to a point where it worked...so I'm
back at square one, On 7/12, my system installed 14 updates and surely one
of these is the culprit....on 6/28 it installed 3 more.....

Here the list: all start with KB: 929916,935807,933928,935280,905866,937077,
936513,936509,934062,936514,932080,934391,934393,934173 and on 6/28 the
following 3: 935652,932471,931836 and on 6/14 these: 929123,931213,933566.

I sure hope uninstalling one of these or combo is the cure?

Just for the record, I am having the same problem. Sure hope downloading
Live Mail works. Not that impressed with Window Vista so far. :(

Hi! 8 Oct

How did things go with Live Mail? I had the same problem: I uninstalled
933928; however, I ensured I uninstalled top downwards : uninstalled the
latest update downwards till 933928 was uninstalled. I have stopped all Auto
Updates, and am comfortable since ( three months). But I am not comfortable:
I would like to keep Windows updated.

The only permanent solution is to upgrade to Windows Live Mail:

I have the same problem and it is SO ANNOYING! I've deleted the KB thing
before and it corrected the problem. An update must have reinstalled it
because I'm back to the drawing board. Does anyone have any new solution?
