U.S. Robotics VS Lucent Win MODEMS

I am going to remove/uninstall a LucentWin K56 V90 modem and replace it with
a V.92 U.S. Robotics Modem #USR5699B .

Does anyone have any special uninstall/remove instructions and installation
instructions?

Nothing special, yank the old one. Make sure it disappears in the
device manager. Then follow the instruction that came with your new
modem.

First, uninstall all/any drivers installs listed in Add/Remove Progams. Also,
uninstall the device in Device Manager before shutting down the PC. Then,
yank the Winmodem out from the PC.
