turning ICF off

i'm trying to verify that icf is turned off. i go to My Network Places, click on View network connections and right-click on each icon. (network bridge 4, local area connection 5 and 1394 connection). none of them has an Advanced tab on the properties dialog box. Help!

The firewall status should be displayed under each

connection(enabled/disabled)without clicking on
properties.
