My web browsers are having problems. Explorer 6, aol running Windows XP
Professional
Scripting
Activex java etc.
Redirect to blank pages.
Secure page links blank

I have
Uninstalled and reinstalled sp2. some functionality returned prior to
updating sp2 patches. Didn’t do this process with explorer 6.
Previously had .net installed . now uninstalled same before sp2 dog and pony
show.
..net may have ben part of another program Outlook, Remote axcess etc?
IEAK dll files located but no program.

Internet options-security-trusted sites-sites button won’t work?

Does anyone have a suggestion short of exorcism, fire, or animal sacrifice?

B1. Uninstall SP2 via Add/Remove Programs and reboot.

B2. Run a thorough check for hijackware, including posting your HijackThis
log to an appropriate forum.

When all else fails, HijackThis (http://aumha.net/downloads/hijackthis.zip)
is the preferred tool to use. It will help you to both identify and remove
any hijackware/spyware.

**Post your HijackThis log to http://forums.spywareinfo.com/,

other appropriate forum for expert analysis, not here.**

B3. Do not install SP2 until an expert gives your HijackThis log a clean
bill of health.
