toolbar.dll error message

For the past two days, my explorer sessions were cut short
by an error message that said "lexplore has caused an
error in toolbar.dll, lexplore will now close, If you
continue to experience this problem try to restart your
computer". Restarting the computer has not helped and I
can't get the message to stop appearing. This has caused
me to be continually disconnected from the internet. What
should I do?
