Mark

My IE seems to be crashing alot, especially when I open a
new window. I get the message:

lexplore has caused an error in USER.EXE. lexplore will
now close.

What is this? how do I fix this?

Thank you.

Mark,
There's a good possibility that this is being caused by a third-party
program (adware, spyware, parasite)

Scan for and remove malware:
Dealing with Unwanted Spyware and Parasites:

There are other possible causes for the USER.EXE errors.
See: http://www.mvps.org/inetexplorer/answers_10.htm#user.exe

And... this article may help:
