This patch package could not be opened

I was unable to remove my damaged office XP. I keep get the error messege of
"This patch package could not be opened,,,,,,". Can anyone of you expert
help how to reistall my office-XP?

Have you tried using the internal repair option. With something like word
open there is a detect and repair option available under the help on the tool
bar at the top. If it doesn't show then click the double down arrow after you
click help, and it's under there.
