The RPC server is unavailable.

When I try to log on to my domain from one of the servers, I get the
following error
The system can not log you on because of the following error
The RPC server is unavailable.
The set up of my network is as follows, within the same subnet we had one
domain with one PDC (A). The computer (CA) used be part of the domain A.
Within the same forest we have now created a new domain (B). And I want to
make this computer CA part of domain B. I logged into the server changed the
domain and restarted the computer. Once I did this and tried to log on using
the domain username and password, I got the error described above.

I am not a network admin per se, but am thrown into taking care of this so
any detailed help will be very much appreciated.

thank you

This is a DNS error. Is this client pointing to a DNS server that is
authorative for domain B?

It should be pointing at a DNS server in this domain. This is usually a DC.
