takes forever to open page

when I try to edit a page from within IE it takes forever to open, what
causes this? I am on Broadband 1mbps and have a high spec machine running FP
2002, it never used to take so long to open a page why is it taking so long?

How is the time to open when you open the site directly in FP instead of via IE?

About the same. I created the site on my laptop so the original myweb isnt
available on my pc but when I try to open it from IE to be edited in FP it
takes forever. It does eventually load but trying to edit individual pages
takes so long I have to give up.
