Publishing problems

I am using XPSP2, FP 2003. Everything has been fine until I got DSL, I was
publishing ok but the speed in FP was not as fast as it should have been with
broadband. I am also using McAfee person firewall and have added a
router.firewall.

I am able to open my remote website although it takes about 5 mins to do so.
It also will publish but just takes forever. Just to publish one HTML page
takes 5 mins. I also can't connect using FP FTP but can connect with another
FTP program and transfer files.

I have set the software firewall to allow FP.

I have tried everything I can think of but cannot figure this out.

I think it is trying to connect and maybe can't get through the router or
something.

Update!

I now have FP FTP working and it publishs quick, however publishing with
http is still sluggish. I checked/fixed the FP Extensions on the server, and
ran FP cleaner.
