System start up problems......Indexing Service

System will load, then hang-up or reboot after selecting
any desktop icon. Enclosed is what I found in "event
viewer application".

4 inconsistencies were detected in PropertyStore during
recovery of catalog d:\system volume
information\catalog.wci.
Content index on d:\system volume
information\catalog.wci is corrupt. Please shutdown and
restart the (cisvc).

Explanation
This event record indicates that the given number of
records in the property store were found to be corrupted.
Indexing Service will automatically rebuild the property
store.
