System Restore bootcode.ini

Reasonly we have on some computer seen the following Error on system eventlog

Source = SR
EventID = 1
Type = Error
Description
The System Restore filter encountered the unexpected error '0xC000000D'
while processing the file 'BootCode.ini' on the volume 'Disk0'. It has
stopped monitoring the volume.

I cannot se any bootcode.ini anyware on the system (including "System Volume
Information"), and there is no records in the registry named og pointing to a
file called bootcode.ini

Have you installed the SP3 update as it includes Hotfix 888402.

Searching on 'BootCode.ini' failed to reveal what this file is? Can you
locate the file using Windows Explorer and check the source by right
clicking on the file and selecting Properties. It might help to know?
