Strange Disappearance of Programs

Hey! My Pain and Calculator has just completely disappeared off of my computer. Like, all of a sudden, the two programs have uninstalled themselves, and I cannot find them. What's going on?

For Calculater:
Start | Run | Type: calc.exe | OK |
Does Calculater open??

For Paint:
Start | Run | Type: mspaint.exe | OK |
Does Paint open??

Find both in:
C:\WINDOWS\system32
Create new shortcuts
