Still can't hear music in web sites

Music in web sites doesn't play. The same files on my PC
play fine. In TOOLS-INTERNET-OPTIONS ADVANCED-MULTIMEDIA
the box Play sound in Web Pages is checked. This problem
just started recently. Can anyone help?
