sp2 & recovery console

I used to have the Recovery Console as a startup option for XP. It seems to
have disappeared when I went to sp2, and when I try to install it from my
original XP cd setup disk there's a message saying setup won't work cause I
have a later version of XP on my computer. Does the recovery console work
with sp2 and if so, what can I do to install it?

You need to "slipstream" Service Pack 2 into the XP
installation files and create a new installation CD. Take a
