SP2 problems

Ok I've had this little bubble telling me that updates for SP1 are going to
stop so I should probably update.

Today I have started to get SP2 and its been stuck on Preforming Cleanup for
the last 30 minutes or so....

also I have tried before to put SP2 on my computer but for some reason it
doesn't let me connect to the internet and I have to do a system restore.

I have dsl and a router is connected to the computer.. is there something I
am suppose to do to connect to the internet?

Did you follow all of the steps needed to prepare your system for SP2? If
you didn't, trouble will come knocking on your door.
