Some Internet Explorer ToolBars are greyed out in View->ToolBars menu

When trying to View/Hide toolbars at one of our clients, I noticed that
some toolbars, including ours, were greyed out and could not be
Viewed/Hidden. After searching I found alot of information on how to
disable the ability to hide/view all toolbars, however I haven't found
any information on how you can selectively choose which ones can be
enabled under View->Toolbars.

To test, I tried installing Google toolbar and it wasn't disabled in
the View->Toolbar area. What determines whether a toolbar is enabled or
disabled (greyed out) in the View->Toolbars area?

Thanks for the help,
Dustin

Hi,
[Assuming XP SP2]
Check IE> Tools> Manage add-ons. In IE6 XP SP2, if an add-on is disabled
there it's not selectable.

Hope this helps,
