Slow Response Between Windows 2000pro and XP

Hello.
I am trying to setup the networking between 3 computers over a Linksys
router. Two are Windows 2000pro boxes and the other is a WinXP. All
computers are recognised on the network, but when I try to access files
between one of the 2000 machines and the xp machine, I get a slow response to
show all shared files. I am thinking it has something to do with Norton
Internet Security because the delayed response is only apparent on the two
machines with NIS installed. I am just not sure what setting would need to be
changed. If anyone knows how I might resolve this?

Thanks.

Jennifer,

If you turn NPF off, does the problem go away? Is this a domain, or a
workgroup?

Check the network configuration on each computer.

Look at "browstat status" and "ipconfig /all" from each computer, as a start.
