Service Pack

I cannot install the Microsof Service Pack 2 on my
computer. Everytime I do an automatic update or go the
site to install it, the installation always fails, and I
am connected to the internet when I try to install it.
Another question is, whenever I go to a website,
sometimes I get this error and Internet Explorer closes.
But when I try to go on the same site through MSN
Explorer, it lets. I'm thinking this is because I don't
have the service pack installed. Any help?

Service pack 2 is available at Staples or you can order the CD. (I'm
assuming you are in the U.S.)

No, SP2 has nothing to do with it. Open Internet Options control panel
(or IE, Tools, Internet Options), check the Connections tab, LAN
Settings. If there is a proxy setting, it could be interfering with IE.
Remove it and see if that helps.
