Whenever I go to create a new website, I receive this error message:

Server error: Cannot rename ".....\_vti_pvt\structure.cnf".

Anyone know what this is? BTW...the dots before the _vti_ string is the
domain stuff for my office...FYI.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,

Keri

Are you trying to create a web with a dot in the filename?
FP will not support any dotted file names

No. Here is what I'm saving it as:

\\poryel-f\keri$\My Documents\YTHC

The complete error message is:

Server error: Cannot rename "\\poryel-f\keri$My
Documents\TYHC\_vti_pvt\structure.cnf".

\\poryel-f\keri$\My Documents\TYHC
is not a server path
A server path is Http://www.yoursitename.com
A disc based path would be
C:\poryel-f\keri$\My Documents\TYHC
or just
C:\TYHC

So what is causing that error message to appear? The website is only being
created to update our old website that is a mess...What do I do to get that
error message to go away? It pops up every few minutes while I'm creating my
company website...

Per my Post
- Somewhere you are using an invalid path or a path that has invalid characters in it
Server paths can't have space in them
