I am having trouble with a large scepol.log file 7mb, I found a KB article
but it does not tell me what the file is and how to get it back to it's
default size of 1mb, if anyone has info it would be very helpful.

Never heard of it before either. But googling brought this link up with

It is a debugging log for the Local Security Authority and how you can use
it to help track what the issues are.

Paul,

The following article shows how to turn the logging on and off. It also
shows how to reduce the minimum size, but I am not able to find anything
about reducing the max.

Other than that, I think you are looking at the hotfix as the best
option.
