Saving/using Power Option Schemes

At Control Panel, Power Options, Power Schemes, when I
choose times for monitor, HDD's, standby, and hibernate,
and then Save As... and Apply, my new Power Scheme
appears in the drop down below Power schemes. But, when
I exit Power Options Properties, exit Control Panel, work
on other applications, and return to Power Options, my
Saved schemes are not available in the Power schemes drop
down. My new Saved schemes are, also, not available
after Restart or Shutdown and hard start. Can you help
me to make sure my saved schemes remain available to
apply?
