Power Setting Problems (Power Options Properties Dialog Box)

I am no longer able to change my Power Schemes.

All the Power Schemes previously available are no longer
available in the Power Scheme box (Display Properties,
Screen Saver, Power, Power Options Properties) have
disappeared.

I cannot create a new Power Scheme and all choices for
the Power Schemes (Turn on monitor, Turn off hard drive,
etc.) are grayed out.

What the heck is going on!

Hi,

This behavior has been attributed to a recent update. I would suggest
checking with the update group:
In the meantime, try the edit on line
204 (right hand side)
