removing unwanted toolbars

Hi there,
when i start IE6, it loads companion toolbars like yahoo,
iwon, links, etc. these i guess are ad ons that have
links to other sites. one that that has appeared on
during startup is one called "worldanywhere.com bar" This
bar causes porn ads to replace other ads. for example,
when iwon.com loads, it has web ad for say wells fargo
bank. about 10 seconds later, this ad is replaced with
very graphic porn ads. I right clicked and check checked
the properties of the image and it references
worldanywhere.com, so this is what is causing it. Is
there any way to uninstall or shut off that bar
permanently so these graphic porn ads stop showing up.
My neices and nephews like to use the system when they
visit and until i get this taken care of, it is off
limits. One last thing; the worldanywhere.com bar also
has a button on it for trying to sell you a program to
stop these unwanted porn pop-ups.
Any help would be much appreciated.

I have that same problem as well, only slightly
different. I have unwanted search toolbars on IE 6 and i
was wondering how to uninstall them. These toolbars I
think are the source of many pop ups on my PC. Also when i
start my PC an unnamed search bar opens up and brings
forth the pop up havoc. As stated before help would
greatly be appreciated

This is from agreeing to programs like Kazaa and others when installing
them.

They are loaded with spyware and are very hard to remove.

Try looking for AdAware, but you are probably better of to format the PC.
