Remove programs

I downloaded a German version of windows media player 11 by mistake. I did
not remove it, but I started to down load the english version. I got a
message that I had to remove the foreign version first. When I tried to
remove it in Remove/Add programs..it will not go away!!
Please advise!

Re-download/install the German version so that the uninstall will work; you
screwed it up when you did not do the uninstall before attempting the later
English install. Then download/install the Englsish version.
